Store language is the foundation of your store. You can set your preferred language for editing backend information, or set the language commonly used by your target customer group.
Path: Settings > Store Language
I. Dashboard Language Settings
The Dashboard Language is the language you see after logging into AllValue. It does not affect the language displayed to your customers on your online store.
Steps:
In the AllValue backend, go to Settings > Store Language>dashboard Language , or click your name in the upper right corner and select "Your Account".
II. Online Store Language Settings
In AllValue dashboard go to Settings> Store Language> Online store language>Add language
Currently supported languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Arabic, Thai (machine-translated automatically).
Confirm whether to enable "Switch according to browser language".
If enabled, when customers open your website, the store system language will automatically match the language of the browser they are using. For example, it will display Simplified Chinese if opened in a browser set to Simplified Chinese.
Click "Add Language" in the "Language List" to set the newly added language as the default language.
You can drag to reorder the display sequence of languages in the "Language List".
III. Display Logic for Multilingual Support
The current display logic for the store’s multilingual feature is as follows:
If the store’s default language matches the target language, custom copy will not be translated — only system copy will be translated.
Example: If the store’s default language is English and the browser/device language is also English, the store will display in English. However, if you edited product names in Chinese, they will not be translated into English.
If the store’s default language does not match the target language, the entire copy will be translated.
Example: If the store’s default language is English and the browser/device language is Chinese, the entire store will be translated into Chinese. Full-site translation relies on Google’s translation capabilities, so translation speed depends on the network environment.
