You can provide customers with discounts that are automatically effective at checkout and in the shopping cart. You can create percentages, fixed amounts, or buy X get Y automatic discounts.
To apply automatic discounts correctly, your customers need to add all eligible items to the shopping cart before going to the checkout page. These include the products that customers need to purchase to meet the discount conditions and the products offered to them in promotional activities.
You can only offer a valid automatic discount at any time. Automatic discounts take precedence over discount codes, and customers cannot apply multiple discounts to a single order. If the customer uses the automatic discount at checkout, the discount code cannot be used.
Create percentage or fixed amount automatic discount
In the AllValue backend, go to the discount page
Click 「Create Discount」
Select 「Automatic Discount」
In the Automatic Discount section, enter the name of the automatic discount. For example, 10offnecklaces。
In the Type section, select percentage or fixed amount
Under Discount Amount, enter the discount amount or percentage value
In the Scope of Application section, select who this discount applies to: all products, designated product groups, or designated products
If the discount applies to a specified product group or product, please use the search field or the "Select Product" button to add these products to the discount. If you want to delete a product group or product from the discount, click "X" to delete it from the listOptional: If you want to create a fixed-amount automatic discount code that can be applied to a specified product or product group, you can check each order to apply the discount only once to limit the number of times the discount code can be used. Otherwise, the discount will be applied to all eligible items in the order.
Set minimum requirements for discounts:
The minimum purchase amount requires the minimum amount a customer needs to spend to enjoy the discount
The minimum quantity of products requires the minimum quantity of products that customers need to purchase to enjoy the discount
Note: If the discount is applied to a specified product group or product, only these products will be included in the minimum purchase amount or quantity.
Use the calendar in the Effective Date section to set the start date of the discount. If you want to set the end date of the discount, click Set End Date and use the calendar to select the end date of the discount. If there is no end date, select long-term
Click save
Create buy X get Y automatic discount
There are two different "Buy X Get Y" discounts. One requires customers to purchase a specified amount of goods to get a discount, and the other requires customers to spend a specified amount to get a discount. The discount can be a free gift or a percentage discount on the price of the product. If you want to provide free products, you need to make sure that you have enough inventory. If the free product’s inventory drops to zero, the product is shown as sold out and customers will not be able to take advantage of this discount.
In the AllValue backend, go to the discount page
Click "Create Discount"
Select "Automatic Discount"
In the Automatic Discount section, enter the name of the automatic discount. For example, buyonegetonefree
In the Type section, select buy X get Y free
In the customer purchase section, set the conditions for using the discount.
Choose the minimum product quantity or minimum purchase amount.
Set the number of products that customers must purchase or the amount of money to be eligible for the discount.
In the Product Range section, choose whether to specify the product or product grouping as eligible products.
Use the "Select" button to add products or product groups to the discount event.
In the customer acquisition section, set the discount that the customer will receive, and the customer must add the specified quantity of goods to the shopping cart.
In the Quantity section, set the number of items that customers must add to the shopping cart to get the discount.
In the Product Range section, choose whether to use specific products or product groups as discounted products. If the product or product grouping is the same as the setting in the customer purchase section, the low-priced product selected by the customer is the product obtained by the customer at a discounted price.
Use the "Select" button to add products or product groups. If you want to delete a product or product group, click "X" to delete it from the list.
In the discount section, select the amount of discount that the customer will get when buying a certain amount of goods. If you want to offer a percentage discount, please select the percentage and enter the value. If you want to provide goods for free, please choose free.
Optional: Check to set each order to use the discount only once, and then enter the maximum number of times this promotion can be applied to an order.
In the Effective Date section, configure the following settings.
Use the calendar in the Effective Date section to set the start date of the discount. If you want to set the end date of the discount, click Set End Date and use the calendar to select the end date of the discount. If there is no end date, select long-term
Just click save.
Note: The start and end time of the discount depends on the time zone you select in the AllValue backend. If your store's time zone is East 8th District China Time, and you choose January 1 as the start date, then your discount will take effect from 0:00 AM China time on January 1
