Customer Account

When a customer account is enabled, AllValue stores password-protected information about customer identity, order history, and current order status. At checkout, customer details (such as address information) will be pre-filled based on the stored information.

If the customer is logged in during checkout, they can choose one of the most recently used addresses. Or, they can enter the address themselves.

Invite customers to create an account

If a customer purchases a product in your store with "not registered" status, then the customer list will automatically save the customer's information, but at this time the customer is not a member of your store, you can send an account invitation email to the customer to encourage them to activate the account . They will receive an email reminder to create an account password.

Send personal account invitation

Step

  1. In the AllValue backend, go to the "Customer" page.

  2. Click the name of the customer to be invited (Note: If the customer list does not contain the customer to be invited, you need to add the customer first)

  3. Click Send Account Invitation

  4. Send the details in the account invitation window by editing -Change sender email -Edit theme -Custom email message -Choose whether to CC

Reset customer's password

If a customer forgets their login password, you can send them an email to reset their password.

  1. In the AllValue backend, go to the "Customer" page.

  2. Click the name of the customer you want to edit.

  3. Click Reset Password on the customer information page.

  4. Click "Confirm Send" in the confirmation dialog box.

The system sent an email to the customer with instructions for resetting the password. The password reset link is valid for 30 days.

Disable account

Disabling the account is equivalent to the blacklist function.

  1. In the AllValue backend, go to the "Customer" page.

  2. Click the name of the customer whose account you want to disable.

  3. Click Disable Account on the customer information page.

  4. "Confirm to disable" in the confirmation dialog
